Our Breeding

We strive to produce medium drive dogs, with a focus on solid bodies in the 70-85lb weight range, with good head shape and nice bone structure. We test for Degenerative Myelopathy and only breed for clear or carrier. We xray hips and elbows, and do yearly cardiac tests. We firmly believe that a sound mind is the most essential part of a German Shepherd, and we breed with our focus on intelligent defense and steadfast loyalty. We want our dogs to protect us from dangerous people, not the EMT saving us from a heart attack. 

Our German Shepherds are friendly, sociable, intelligent, loyal, confident, and loving. They are heavily socialized from birth, with Early Neurological Stimulation starting at birth and moving into the puppy culture program as they age (also known as Superhero Puppy). We believe that socialization is not just playing with other dogs- socialization is preparing a dog for the world. We do sound desensitization, grooming and handling, exposure to different textures under their paws, and experience with children, cats, and farm animals. Socialization is a multi faceted animal, and Diego continuously researches to find even better ways to prepare his pups for the world. 

Something that makes us stand out from other breeders is our breeder support. We offer free training and boarding for life, and we will take back any dog that we have produced that needs to return for whatever reason. Unfortunately, life can be unpredictable and we understand that things happen. We do not want any of our dogs ending up in the shelter system. Please inquire for details on training as well as boarding. 

All our pups go home with AKC papers, a baggie of food (Victor Hi Pro or Purina Pro Plan), puppy contract, future medical information guide, records for Neopar shot done at 4 weeks and DHPP shot done at 6 weeks, recent clear fecal test, microchip, and vet checks done at 6, 7, and 8 weeks.
